The Challenge
Before the implementation, Binkabi Restaurant was operating without a dedicated system to manage its inventory. Stock levels were not tracked within any management platform, leaving the team without visibility into what was being consumed and what needed to be replenished.
Sales figures and operational expenses were entered manually into QuickBooks, a time-consuming process that introduced the risk of errors and made timely reporting difficult.
The restaurant also needed better structure around how its orders were organised. Binkabi serves dine-in, buffet and takeout customers across three meal sessions — Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner — but had no way to segregate orders and sales by order type or by session. This made it impossible to understand performance at a granular level or manage operations efficiently across the different service formats.
The Solution
Powersoft Systems implemented eZee Burrp as Binkabi's restaurant management platform. The setup was configured specifically around how Binkabi operates, rather than a generic out-of-the-box installation.
The various order types — dine-in, buffet and takeout — were configured as separate outlets within the system. This gave the team the ability to generate reports that break down performance by order type, making it straightforward to see how each service format is performing at any given time.
Meal sessions were automated based on time. The system now switches between Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner sessions automatically, ensuring that every order is captured and reported under the correct session without requiring manual intervention from staff.
The implementation also covered integration between eZee Burrp and QuickBooks Desktop via the eZee QuickBooks connector, reducing the manual data entry that had previously burdened the team.
